Automatic and semi-automatic lines for lavash production

UTF GROUP produces a wide range of industrial lines for lavash production of various capacities and automation level, what allows choosing the best set of equipment for companies with any scale of production – from small bakeries to large factories.

Reducing the net cost of a unit of product is carried out by increasing productivity, automating work processes and eliminating rejects.

The stable sizes of the finished product ensures group packaging of lavash.

Compliance with European food safety standards allows selling products in retail chains as well as exporting them.

Small initial investment

Does not require highly skilled baker

Automation of Armenian lavash production

Despite the simplicity of the recipe and production technology, due to the difference in weight, thickness and size of the piece, different baking times for each individual lavash and other nuances a manual production of Armenian lavash requires considerable skill, high labor and time costs, while the percentage of rejects remains quite high. All this leads to a high cost of finished products.

The mechanization of the forming and baking process provides getting of standard pieces, what significantly simplifies the process of lavash production and reduces the rejects rate. Such production does not require highly skilled workers and considerably increases productivity.

Automating the processes of baking, moistening, stabilization and forming of dough pieces increases productivity while reducing the number of personnel.

The minimum set of equipment requires a minimum initial investment and small production areas. Therefore, it is often used when starting a business or when moving from fully manual production to machine production.

Semi-automatic lines are used, as a rule, in cases where there is a limited or seasonal demand that does not allow the full use of the capabilities of the automatic line. Also, semi-automatic lines are used in the production of lavash similar in appearance to hand-made lavash.

In the production of lavash, the use of an automatic line is most effective due to the minimum unit cost of the product, but this requires the higher starting investments and is paid off at a significant volume of production.

Stage-by-stage transition from semi-automatic line to automatic
Stage-by-stage transition from semi-automatic line to automatic

Acquisition of a semi-automatic line often becomes one of the stages of business development. Due to the relatively low price, a semi-automatic line requires a smaller initial investment and allows further converting the line into an automatic one without stopping operation.

In this case, automatic rolling and dividing machine is installed instead of a divider-rounder, rolling machine and conveyor-stacker. Baking, moistening and stabilization are performed on the same equipment.
