forms test strands of a specified diameter, which are distributed evenly across the width of the conveyor to prevent them from sticking together
gives the breadsticks a golden hue, to achieve this, the dough strands are passed through a bath of sodium bicarbonate solution heated to 70–90°C
scores the dough strand to form the future break line of the finished product, the distance between the scores determines the length of the breadsticks and is controlled by the control system
To expand the product range, it is possible to coat the dough strands with loose ingredients (such as salt, poppy seeds, sesame seeds, etc.)
bakes the straws on a wire mesh tray in a baking chamber with multiple temperature zones
cools the straws after baking to the correct temperature for packaging using a conveyor belt system
The shaping section of the straw production line is a separate unit of equipment, which enables it to operate in conjunction with the customer’s existing tunnel ovens with mesh floors
To automate the packaging process, it is possible to integrate machines for packaging breadsticks into polythene bags, cardboard boxes and other types of packaging into the production line.
